I was in and out in less than 25mins.Evergreen Haven is located in Torrance, CA, part of Los Angeles County.Īccording to United States census data, the city has a population of 143,600. It was a small space, and the optometrist office was nothing fancy, but that’s okay he answered ALL of my questions and was very professional and nice. Eureka, I could see! I got a trial pair, and an explanation of prices for contacts and glasses. I walked downstairs, gave my prescription to Brian, who gave me a pair of glasses of my prescription. I arrived a little late, which I explain might happen on the courtesy call, walked in filled out paperwork and soon I was escorted upstairs to see the optometrist. But a flat rate of $ 60, was most likely going to happen he said. Brian told me the prices were dependent on my astigmatism. I liked they were mostly positive, and the price of $ 60,didn’t hurt, so I called yesterday and made an appointment for today. I went on Unilocal, read the reviews about Eye Connect Optical. 99, the local optometrist cost $ 174, and another one in Torrance was $ 110. Appointment availability also played a role because I don’t have backup glasses or an extra pair of contacts, which I need to do everything, lol. I shopped around looking for something cheaper than my insurance contact exam of $ 80. I recommend Eye Connect for your entire family. One of the boys had his lens popped out while playing basketball a few days later I took them back to be fixed without issue or charge. ![]() ![]() The boys were stoked to be able to see clearly and really happy with how they were treated by all staff. I was able to make a partial payment to get the glasses started on creation and then picked them up the next morning for both kids. We went downstairs with our prescriptions, were further adjusted and the boys picked out frames. The doctor then explained everything to me and gave recommendations as well as what I had to look forward to in the future. When I got into the room, the kids were both calm and comfortable talking with the doctor (he’s also great with kids) as he explained to them in general terms what they needed to do with their glasses and how they needed to wear them. One of the staff walked the boys upstairs while I finished paperwork before following behind them to go up stairs to the doctor. ![]() My 10 year old nephew was nervous at first about the eye exam and the 14 year old wasn’t thrilled but they did both want to see better. Recently I needed to see about having my nephew’s eyes examined for glasses, so I came here because of my previous success. I got a pair of glasses which have worked out fine for me. I went up the elevator to get an eye exam from a very professional and nice eye doctor whom explained everything to me including eye surgery (I plan to get the laser correction in the future). No hassle, no gimmicks, no wait times (most important because I was short for time with running errands before the big day). LOL Anyway, I walked in to get an exam because the advertising price was cheaper than I had ever seen. I wanted to have a pair to compliment my dress and all instead of be a distraction because of the tape. I first came here back in August to replace my broken frame and glasses for my wedding day (later that month).
